Is there any documentation for the config file option?

Thanks,

Hey Rich,

There isn't any documentation for it other than the source code. This was a feature we developed internally to solve migrating runbooks from dev -> qa -> prod SCSM -- we just have the configuration file different in each SCSM environment (pointing to dev / qa / prod orchestrator VIPs). In this way we don't need to modify our SCSM exports at all during change control. In the c:\Orchestrator folder we also have the scorchLauncher.exe file and OrchestratorInterop.dll file. The MP for invoking is described in an earlier (non config file) version here http://opalis.wordpress.com/2013/04/03/triggering-orchestrator-runbook-from-service-manager/

Development Example
FileName: c:\Orchestrator\Environment.xml
FileContents:
<scorchConfig>
    <webServerUrl>http://d.orchestrator.contoso.com/Orchestrator2012/Orchestrator.svc</webServerUrl>
    <rubookPathPrefix>\Development</rubookPathPrefix>
    <retryCount>5</retryCount>
    <retryDelay>60</retryDelay>
</scorchConfig>
Development Example
FileName: c:\Orchestrator\Environment.xml
FileContents:
<scorchConfig>
    <webServerUrl>http://q.orchestrator.contoso.com/Orchestrator2012/Orchestrator.svc</webServerUrl>
    <rubookPathPrefix>\Development</rubookPathPrefix>
    <retryCount>5</retryCount>
    <retryDelay>60</retryDelay>
</scorchConfig>
Development Example
FileName: c:\Orchestrator\Environment.xml
FileContents:
<scorchConfig>
    <webServerUrl>http://orchestrator.contoso.com/Orchestrator2012/Orchestrator.svc</webServerUrl>
    <rubookPathPrefix>\Development</rubookPathPrefix>
    <retryCount>5</retryCount>
    <retryDelay>60</retryDelay>
</scorchConfig>

Thanks for the reply. I dug through the source code and figured out the format but was still having an issue with the following error
Unhandled Exception: System.Exception: Summary: Runbook Not Found:
Details:
   at scorchLauncher.Program.Main(String[] args)
I had a trailing \ on the path prefix which looks like it was causing the issue. Thanks again for the info.
