scorchlauncher issue

Aug 21, 2013 at 9:13 PM
On several Systems we get the following error when executing scorchlauncher:
Unhandled Exception: System.Exception: Summary: The method 'Count' is not suppor
ted.
Details:
at scorchLauncher.Program.Main(String[] args) in c:\Projects\TFS\scorch\Orche
strator\scorchLauncher\Program.cs:line 64

When we utilize the same arguments on a system that works we get a successful start of the runbook. We have .NET 3.5 installed and the OrchestratorInterop.dll in the same folder.

I am logged into the system with my username which has full access to SC Orchestrator 2012 SP1. We use the following arguments:
ScorchLauncher.exe -WebServerURL http://scorchestrator:81/Orchestrator2012/Orchestrator.svc -RunbookPath "\QA Automation\CreateVM"
I am able to connect to the website on port 81 and 82 with my credentials and I see the runbook on port 82 and can start it through the webinterface.

Please let me know if any other info is required to troubleshoot.

Thanks,

Hey Andreas,

That error leads me to think that the tool cannot find the runbook to start (trying to count a null object). Are you running the tool with the same user across the systems? The easiest way to troubleshoot this would probably be a Lync call. Let me know if you want to do this and we can setup something quick
